“Capchella” was the 2023 iteration of Capilano’s annual employee appreciation night — a summer festival–inspired celebration recognizing the park’s team members. I designed the full visual identity and event collateral, capturing the spirit of connection, recognition, and West Coast summer sunsets that define the brand.

The creative direction drew from Capilano’s brand palette and natural landscape, combining warm gradient skies and silhouetted fir trees to evoke the feeling of a sunset music festival in the forest. Deliverables included event posters, crew badges, nomination cards, signage, and award certificates — all unified under a cohesive “Capchella” identity.

The result was an immersive and joyful experience that felt true to Capilano’s essence: community, nature, and celebration, all brought together through thoughtful design and storytelling.
