For Capilano Suspension Bridge Park’s Friends & Family Night, I led the event’s visual design and creative direction, crafting an experience that embodied the park’s signature blend of nature, nostalgia, and connection. Central to the event was a custom Field Guide—a printed piece designed to resemble a well-loved traveler’s journal. It featured illustrated pages inspired by classic explorer notebooks and served a dual purpose: guiding guests through the evening’s experiences while neatly holding their food and drink tickets within its pages.

Every design element—typography, texture, and tone—was rooted in Capilano’s established brand identity. The palette drew from the park’s forest greens and earthy neutrals, paired with hand-rendered illustrations and archival-style details that echoed the spirit of adventure. Together, the collateral and signage system created a cohesive, story-driven environment that felt both elevated and personal, celebrating the community of people behind the park.
